HMSA's Mail-Order Prescription Drug Program is a cost-efficient and convenient way to receive your maintenance medications.
Maintenance medications are drugs taken on a regular or long-term basis for conditions such as allergies, high blood pressure, arthritis, heart ailments, and diabetes.
With this program, administered by Medco:
- You will reduce your prescription copayments. To receive the greatest cost savings, ask your doctor to prescribe the mail-order maximum day supply for your plan, with three or more refills. Most plans have a 90-day mail-order supply benefit.
- Your medication will be delivered to your home.
